VN, Cambodia boost bilateral ties

VGP – Việt Nam always prioritizes boosting the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation with Cambodia, said National Assembly Nguyễn Sinh Hùng.

The top legislator made the statement on February 21 in Hà Nội while receiving a delegation from the Cambodian National Assembly Committee for External Affairs, International Cooperation, Information and Media, led by its Chairman, Chheang Vun.

NA Chairman Hùng suggested the two parliaments' external affairs committees should pay attention to boost the two countries cooperation in various fields and create favorable conditions for the celebration activities on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the two countries bilateral relations.

For his part, Mr. Chheang Vun appreciated Việt Nam’s assistance to Cambodia in the past years and informed his host of the working results between the two parliaments' committees for external affairs.

Cambodia will do its utmost to better relations between the two countries, the guest leader asserted./.
