VN treasures int’l community’s assistance in AIDS, drugs prevention
VGP – Deputy PM Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on March 2 thanked international sponsors, organizations and diplomatic agencies for their valuable assistance in preventing and controlling AIDS, drugs and prostitution in Việt Nam.
He said that the Vietnamese Government has made lot of efforts and prioritized diverse resources for AIDS, drugs and prostitution prevention with a number of positive achievements.
Besides, the country has been improving legal framework for this field, according to the Deputy PM.
Foreign organizations and sponsors highly valued efforts and achievements of Việt Nam in socio-economic development in general and AIDS, drugs and prostitution prevention in particular. They also asked Việt Nam to pay due care to high risk groups of HIV/AIDS infection such as gays and whoredom.
They also committed to helping Việt Nam in launching AIDS, drugs and prostitution prevention and control programs.
