VN, Armenia should improve legal framework for bilateral ties

VGP – Vietnam and Armenia should work together to improve the legal framework for bilateral cooperation, said PM Nguyen Tan Dung during his meeting with visiting Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan in Hanoi on Friday.

The Vietnamese Government chief called on the two countries to boost exchange of delegations at all levels and beef up trade promotion activities to support the two sides’ businesses in expanding investment.

Besides, both sides need to set up proper mechanisms for coordinating bilateral cooperative activities in economics, trade, science and technology, education and tourism.

PM Dung also pledged to effectively implement agreements reached between State President Truong Tan Sang and Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan during their talks held earlier on the same day.

Regarding multilateral aspect, PM Dung hoped the two nations would continue supporting each other at forums like the United Nations.

President Serzh Sargsyan showed his pleasure at the fine developments of the bilateral ties. He urged the two countries to early establish an inter-governmental committee, speed up information exchange, and create favorable conditions for their businesses.

President Serzh Sargsyan also affirmed that Armenia is ready to welcome Vietnamese students to study in Armenia./
