Overall planning scheme to be completed for HCM City Hi-tech Zone

VNGOVNet – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), the PM gave his opinions on December 25 about the revised Overall Planning Scheme and the report on the construction investment project, stage II, for the Hồ Chí Minh City Hi-tech Zone.

Accordingly, the PM assigned the Hồ Chí Minh City People’s Committee to adopt comments from the relevant agencies and the MPI to revise, supplement and perfect the Overall Planning Scheme before submitting to the PM for approval.

The PM requested that the supplemented Overall Planning Scheme should clearly define the location, expanded area; functional quarters; different stages of the construction; target, area, duration and work items in each stage; investment capital and resources; investment items using State budget and mobilized capitals; and the implementation.

Based in the approved supplemented Overall Planning Scheme for the Hồ Chí Minh City Hi-tech Zone, the City People’s Committee will direct the building-up and approval of the investment project on the stage-II construction as well as the Overall Planning Scheme for Construction in line with the stipulations.
