Minister of Education and Training entrusted to sign equipment contracts for 3 universities

VNGOVNet – Considering the recommendations of the ministries of Education and Training (MET) and Planning and Investment (MPI), the PM gave his direction on December 26 about the signing of the contracts to procure equipment under the Project "Development of Technical Education for High-skilled Human Power" using loans from the Austrian Government.

Accordingly, the PM assigned the Minister of Education and Training to approve and have a full responsibility for the contents of the equipment provision contracts under the Project "Development of Technical Education for High-skilled Human Power" at three technical universities.

The MET shall implement the Project after the Ministry of Finance signs a credit agreement with a bank appointed by the Austrian Government. The MET must observe all current regulations on ODA management.

The Project "Development of Technical Education for High-skilled Human Power" is aimed at improving the operational training in computer numerical control (CNC), computer-aided design (CAD), and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) for the Hanoi University of Technology, Đà Nẵng University and the Hồ Chí Minh City Technical Teachers Training University in one year.
