The funding will benefit the project on “Capacity enhancement of implementation, assessment and supervision of the National Strategy on Gender Equality”, which was signed by UN Women and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) on October 23.

To be implemented from October 2012 to December 2016, the project targets to improve knowledge and skills for officials to effectively conduct and supervise the National Strategy.

It also contributes to building a database in favor of the making of law on gender equality; protecting female guest workers, preventing domestic violence and popularizing good examples in promoting gender equality./.
