Bình Thuận wants to expand contacts with California business circle

VGP – A delegation for investment and trade promotion from the central province of Bình Thuận, who is on a working visit to western states of the US, had a meeting with American and Vietnamese businessmen in San Francisco on August 6.

At the meeting, the delegation introduced the province’s potentialities and incentives granted to foreign investors, especially those engaging in exporting fruits, furniture, frozen fish and tourism.

Many American enterprises showed their interest in exports and investment projects. They also provided information of the US market, standards on product quality, and import procedures in the US.

Addressing the meeting, Mr. Lê Quốc Hùng, Vietnamese Consul General in San Francisco, confirmed that the Consulate will do its utmost to support sectors and localities to promote investment and trade activities with American counterparts.
