Leaders of different countries send consolatory messages to VN

VNGOVNet – Knowing that Typhoon Durian caused heavy human and material damage to Vietnam, leaders of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Kingdom of Thailand, and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) have sent consolatory messages to Vietnamese State and Government leaders.

On December 6, on behalf of the Jordanian people, King Abadellah II Bin Al Hussein sent a message to State President Nguyễn Minh Triết to show his sympathy and solidarity with Durian-stricken Vietnamese people, expressing his wish that they will soon overcome the losses caused by the disaster.

 

Thai PM Surayud Chulanont and DPRK Premier Pak Pong-ju also separately sent their messages to PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on December 8 to express their consolation to the Durian victims in Central and South Vietnam. On the same day, Thai Foreign Minister Nitya Pibulsonggram and Pakistan Foreign Minister K.M.Kasuri sent their consolatory messages to Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm.
