Outcomes of negotiations for ADB-funded project approved

VGP – The Government has approved the outcomes of negotiations on a credit agreement for the power transmission investment project funded by the Asian Development Bank.

The Governor of State Bank of Viet Nam, Nguyen Van Binh, was assigned to sign the agreement.

The project has three sub-components, namely the Pleiku-My Phuoc-Cau Bong 500 kV transmission line, Cau Bong-Hoc Mon-Binh Tan 220 kV transmission line, and Cau Bong-Duc Hoa 220 kV transmission line.

The objective of the project is to increase power supply to Southern provinces from plants located in Central region and Central Highlands and other power sources.
