PM okays building of cultural works
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a plan to build and upgrade cultural works (including theatres, cinemas and exhibition halls) in the phase from 2012-2020.

The aim of the plan is to help people enjoy a better cultural and spiritual life, especially those living in disadvantaged and remote areas.
According to the plan, some large-scale and modern cultural works will be built in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Total investment for the work in the period is estimated at VND 10,800 billion, of which VND 6,500 billion will come from the State budget (accounting for 60.2%) and VND 4,300 billion from other sources (accounting 39.8%).
