Int’l-standard universities, vocational schools to be built

VGP – Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan directed the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affair plan the establishment of universities and vocational training schools of international standards till 2020, with vision to 2030.

The establishment of powerful research centers should be based on the coordination with high-quality foreign counterparts.

These centers should apply high technologies such as bio-technology, electronics, informatics, space technology, automation, new material and nano-technology.

The Deputy PM assigned the Ministry of Science and Technology to cooperate with other relevant agencies to identify priority technologies for development and application till 2020, and scientific research groups and universities which will be in charge of building powerful research centers.
