Gov’t decides to open airport in Thanh Hoa

The 4E airport will be capable of accommodating A320, A321 planes to serve domestic flights.

The terminal is expected to handle 600,000 passengers a year and 190 passengers per rush hour.

Earlier on January 18, the Ministry of Transport coordinated with Thanh Hoa People’s Committee to announce the planning scheme of Tho Xuan airport through 2020 with vision to 2030.

The airport is located in Sao Vang Town, Tho Xuan District, about 40 km from Thanh Hoa city center.

Tho Xuan airport is the 22^nd terminal in Viet Nam, said Deputy Minister of Transport Pham Quy Tieu./.
