Land use fee and rent billed for Tân Sơn Nhất Airport-Bình Lợi-Outer Belt-road Highway project

VNGOVNet – The Government Office has just issued Document 99/VPCP-KTTH delivering the PM’s direction that the land use fee and rent be charged on the BT Project to build the Tân Sơn Nhất Airport - Bình Lợi - Outer Belt-road Highway.

Following the proposal of the Hồ Chí Minh City People’s Committee and the Ministry of Finance’s suggestions in Document 15161/BTC-QLCS as well as recommendations from the Ministry of Resource and Environment, the PM ordered the HCMC People’s Committee to observe the existing legislation on land and must charge land use fees and rents on the project.

He also requested the HCMC People’s Committee to study and take Option 1 recommended in MoF Document 99/VPCP-KTTH for negotiation with LG Engineering & Construction on the contract.

The project to build a highway running from Tân Sơn Nhất Airport through Bình Lợi to the Outer belt-road was approved by HCMC’s Service of Transport and Public Works and Service of Planning and Architecture. The road is located to the north of the city centre as a part of Belt road 1. It is 56 km long and passes Bình Thái Crossroad – New Bình Lợi Bridge – Tân Sơn Nhất Airport – Hoàng Văn Thụ Road - Crossroad Bảy Hiền – Võ Thành Trang – and Village Road 2. It cuts the East-West Road and Nguyễn Văn Linh Road over Phú Mỹ Bridge to again cut the Sài Gòn Highway-Long Thành-Dầu Giây before reaching Bình Thái Intersection.
