Draft VN-Mozambique cooperation agreements approved

VNGOVNet – Following the recommendations of the ministries of Planning and Investment, Health, Education and Training, the PM approved on January 15-16 a number of draft agreements between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Government and the Republic of Mozambique Government in relation to investment incentives and protection, and cooperation in health, education and culture.

The PM authorized leaders of the ministries of Planning and Investment, Health, and Education and Training to respectively sign with the representatives of the Mozambican Government agreements on investment incentives and protection; health cooperation; and education and culture. The above ministries shall collaborate as the major implementers with the relevant agencies in putting the agreements into reality. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) was assigned to inform the other side of the PM authorization and clear necessary diplomatic procedures after the agreements are signed.

On the same day, under Document 71/TTg-QHQT, the PM authorized the MOFA to negotiate and sign the Agreement on Visa Exemption for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders with the Republic of Mozambique based on the framework draft that he has approved.
