Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group admits new member

(Vietnam Government Website) – Considering the request of the Management Board of the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group, on 3 November, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Standing Deputy PM Nguyen Sinh Hung made an instruction concerning the Group’s admission of the Nam Can port managed by the People’s Committee of Ca Mau province as its new member.

The Deputy PM agreed to move the Nam Can port authority under the Ca Mau province People’s Committee to the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group and assigned the Chairman of the committee and the group’s management board to carry out the transfer in line with law.

 

On the same day, considering the request of the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province, Deputy PM Nguyen Sinh Hung authorized the transformation of Lam Dong Tourism Company and the Lam Dong Tea Company into joint stock companies in compliance with the Party’s line and State legislation.

 

Earlier, on 2 November, the Deputy PM had agreed on a pilot scheme to transform the Centre for Consultation and Monitor of Construction Quality under the Thang Long Project Management Board into a joint stock company and assigned the Ministry of Transport to instruct and be responsible for this pilot scheme.
