Inter-disciplinary negotiation mission set up for ADB projects

VNGOVNet–On 8 November, at the request of the State Bank of Vietnam, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng approved the set-up of an inter-disciplinary negotiation panel for projects seeking loans from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The panel consists of representatives of the State President’s Office, Government Office, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transport and the Vietnam Railway Corporation.

The negotiators will carry out talks for loans to fund the Railway Corporation’s project to improve and upgrade the railway section from Yên Viên to Lào Cai Stations. They will also seek loans for the Ministry of Education and Training’s project to develop the contingent of teachers for senior secondary and technical schools.
