Of the figure, farm produce exports reached US$7.84 billion, down 11.9% meanwhile fishery and forestry exports earned US$3.41 billion (up 0.7%) and US$3.05 billion (up 12.2%), respectively.
In terms of commodities, Viet Nam shipped around 4.22 million tons of rice, earning US$1.88 billion in the reviewed period.
Coffee exports were estimated at 890.000 tons, worth nearly US$1.91 billion, down 23.7% in quantity.
Meanwhile, the country pocked over US$1.21 billion and US$ 692 million from exporting rubber and cassava, respectively, in the first seven months.
Cashew nuts and timber exports also posted high increase rates of 15% and 12.3% to US$759 million and US$2.9 billion./.
