Six medals won at Int’l Mathematics Olympiad

VGP – A team of six Vietnamese students won three gold and three silver medals at the 2013 International Mathematics Olympiad held in Colombia from July 17-27, according to the Ministry of Education and Training.

Three gold medalists are Vo Duc Anh (12^th grader from Ha Tinh Gifted High School), Pham Tuan Huy and Can Tran Thanh Trung (11^th and 12^th grader from the Gifted High School under the Ho Chi Minh City National University).

Three silver medals belong to Dinh Le Cong (12^th grader from the Gifted High School under the Vinh University, Tran Dang Phuc (12^th grader from the Gifted High School under the Ha Noi National University, and Hoang Do Kien (12^th grader from Vinh Phuc Gifted High School.

Last year, Vietnamese students won one gold, three silver, and two bronze medals at the 53^rd International Mathematics Olympiad./.
