The capital saw a year-on-year CPI increase of 8.7%. The figure was 5.19% higher than the same period in 2012.
The healthcare sector witnessed the sharpest rise of 63.94% due to rising costs of medical services at public hospitals.
Prices of transportation services and housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials picked up 1.13% and 0.95% respectively.
