Da Nang attracts nearly US$300 million in FDI

VGP – The central city of Da Nang lured a total of US$295 million in foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2013.

The figure includes US$48.4 million for 42 fresh projects, focusing on expected areas like tourism, service, and high-tech industries, according to the city’s data.

Meanwhile, many other FDI enterprises like VBL, Coca-Cola Non Nuoc, TCIE, and Viet Hoa Electronics Co. Ltd also decided to expand business operations with an additional volume of US$246 million.

The city reported that with 279 valid projects worth US$3.3 billion, the FDI sector’s revenue reached some US$450 million in 2013, up 8.435 against 2012./.
