Ministry offers guidance to timber import

Accordingly, import of timber from Cambodia shall be subject to customs clearance procedures only in accordance with the current regulations. It shall not be subject to import license issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

In addition, the Circular defines the responsibility of importers of Cambodian timber for complying with the law of Cambodia and Viet Nam.

The circular took effect on January 15, 2014./.
