Japanese cherry blossom festival opens

VGP - Japanese cherry blossom festival was open to public on March 8-9 in Ha Noi with around 200 Japanese cherry blossom trees.

The event also features Yosakoi dance performances by groups of Vietnamese and Japanese artists.
Stalls of traditional Japanese food and ones displaying Cosplay and Origami paper folding, performances of Kendo and Aikido martial arts also attracted visitors.

Leading Japanese universities are present to introduce study and scholarship opportunities. Other information about the country’s culture and education is also available.

The first festival was held in Ha Noi in 2007 by the Japan-Viet Nam Cultural Association Foundation. This is a chance for people to find out more about the country, people and traditional culture of Japan, as well as strengthen the relationship between the two countries./.
