VN hopes for early stability in Thailand

VGP – As a neighbor in the region and a member of ASEAN, Viet Nam is watching the developments in Thailand with keen attention and hopes that Thailand will soon stabilize the situation for national development and for peace, stability and cooperation in the region.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made the statement on May 24 while answering reporters’ question on Viet Nam’s response to the recent developments in Thailand.

The same day, the Foreign Ministry’s Consulate Department encouraged the Vietnamese community in Thailand that they should abide by the provisions issued by local authorities and contact Viet Nam’s representative offices in the country for necessary assistance./.
