VN, UK accelerate strategic partnership

VGP – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs on May 28 held a phone call with Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Hugo Swire to exchange measures to step up the Viet Nam-UK strategic partnership in the future.

The two sides agreed that the relationship has been growing strongly.

Priorities will be focused on politics-diplomacy, economy, trade, investment and education and training, they said.

They highly valued the Viet Nam-UK Strategic Dialogue mechanism and shared issues of international and regional concerns, including recent developments in the East Sea.
