NA approves working program for next session

VGP - The National Assembly (NA) today approved by voting the law and ordinance-making program for 2015 as well as adjustments to the program of its next 8thsession this year.

Accordingly, by the end of the 8^th session, the NA will focus on building important laws, especially those relating to organizational structure to meet the requirements of social management as declared in the revised Constitution which was approved last year.

They include the draft revised Law on the Government’s Organization, the Law on Local Government, the revised Law on the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, the Law on Election of the National Assembly and People’s Council, and the revised Law on State budget.

The NA will also revise a number of codes, including the Civil Code, Civil Procedure Code, and Criminal Procedure Code.

Also on the day, Head of NA Committee for Deputies' Affairs, Nguyen Thi Nuong, presented the draft revised Law on the National Assembly’s Organization and the deputies listened to a report on the review and check of the draft law.

They also discussed the draft revised Law on Environmental Protection and Law on Customs.
