NA adopts important laws, resolutions

VGP - After one-month sitting, the National Assembly wrapped up its seventh session in Ha Noi on June 24, approving several important laws and resolutions.

The NA adopted a resolution on Q & A sessions of the Inspector General and the Ministers of Justice, Finance, Education and Training, which records their explanations, answers and commitments to address voters’ ideas, as well as the NA’s oversight to their performances.

The NA approved another resolution on a plan of supervision activities in 2015, includingthe implementation of policies on managing and using land in state-owned agricultursl and forestry farms between 2004 and 2014.

In addition, the NA pased a resolution on enhancing sustainable poverty reduction to 2020, affirming the Party and State’s resolve in ensuring people’s living standards.

Also approved were the resolution on the country's accession to the Cape Town Convention, the Law on amendments and supplements to the Law on Vietnamese Nationality.
