ADB Loan Agreement ratified for Sub-program II of SME Development Program
VNGOVNet – On December 11, considering the proposal of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), the PM approved the contents of the Loan Agreement for Sub-program II on the loan for the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Program and the attached documents already agreed in negotiations with the Asia Development Bank (ADB).
The PM authorized SBV Governor Lê Đức Thúy to represent the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to sign the Loan Agreement with the ADB representative. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was assigned to inform ADB about this decision.
The relevant ministries and sectors directing the realization of loan conditions under Sub-program II include the ministries of Planning and Investment (MPI), Finance (MoF), Justice, Science and Technology, Resource and Environment, and the SBV. They were ordered to promptly fulfill the commitments to the agreement in order to have the loan disbursed soon for the Program.
The MoF will coordinate with the MPI and other ministries concerned in designing a regime to use the capital and submit it to the PM for decision.
