MARD to be leader of VN agencies joining US-funded regional project

VNGOVNet – On the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, on behalf of the PM, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm gave his opinions on December 14 on Vietnam joining the regional project funded by the US Government through the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

The Deputy PM agreed that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) will function as the leader of other agencies taking part in the regional project "OSRO/RAS/604/USA – Direct Aids to Improve Ready Preparations in Urgent Situations to Deal with Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI)" funded by the US Government through the FAO. Leaders of the MARD were entrusted to sign project documents with the FAO and realize the Project in line with the regulations.
