MAG in search for unexploded explosives in Vietnam

The PM assigned the Quảng Bình Province People’s Committee to collaborate with the Ministry of National Defense and the relevant agencies to realize the Project in line with the current stipulations.

The British non-governmental organization MAG, with 150 local employees and seven international advisors, is the largest international agency involved in mine clearance. At present, four action teams of the MAG are operating in Quảng Bình and five in Quảng Trị. The total cleared area in the two provinces is about 640 ha. About 86,000 unexploded explosives have been found.
