Tourism revenue jumps sharply

VGP – Thanks to domestic tourism stimulation programs, the sector earned some US$ 6.8 billion in revenue in the first seven months, representing a year-on-year increase of 21.2%.

In January-June period, 4.28 million foreigners visited Viet Nam, up 21.11% against the same period last year. Meanwhile, Viet Nam handled 23.4 million of domestic guests, an increase of 6.9%.

In July, the number of foreign arrivals picked up 4.6% against June but decreased by 14.2% against the same period last year.
