DPM welcomes Korean guest

VGP – Deputy PM Vu Van Ninh recommended the Republic of Korea’s Cooperative Agricultural Bank - NongHyup Bank support Viet Nam in developing agricultural small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and optimising capital use in production.

The Deputy PM made the proposal on September 23 while receiving Chairman of NongHyup Bank Kim Ju Ha.

The guest leader revealed that NongHyup Bank is backing over 17,000 Korean SMEs specializing in agricultural production.

NongHyup Bank stands ready to share its abundant experience on the building of new rural areas with Viet Nam.

Deputy PM Ninh said that the RoK is one of the largest ODA providers for Viet Nam and a large number of Korean enterprises are doing fruitful business and contributing to social welfare in Viet Nam.

He also hailed the cooperation between NongHyup Bank andthe Vietnamese Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) on restructuring activities and the Korean bank’s support for the overseas Vietnamese community in the RoK./.
