PM Dung meets Chief Minister of India’s Bihar State

VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung on Monday met with Chief Minister of the Eastern state of Bihar as part of his official visit to India from October 27-29.

Mr. Manjihi showed his admiration for Viet Nam’s courage during the struggle for national independence in the past as well as the socio-economic development achievements gained over the past time.

He suggested that Viet Nam and Bihar should strengthen cooperation in agriculture, aquaculture, food processing, education and especially tourism.

The Bihar Chief Minister also called for opening a direct air route from Viet Nam to Bihar and organizing a tourism forum in Bodh Gaya city early next year.

Viet Nam and India enjoyed a long-lasting friendship and already set up strategic partnership, said PM Dung, adding that his visit aims to further deepen the bilateral ties for mutual benefits and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world./.
