Budget for tertiary education development allocated

VGP -The PM has directed the allocation and use of VND3.1 trillion funded by the World Bank for tertiary education development at public tertiary education institutions to improve facilities and training quality.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) was asked to work with the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF) in allocating the 2015-2016 budget for targetted projects, in which the supplemented budget for uncompleted projects must follow legal regulations on investment and other related regulations.
 
The MOET was assigned to work with the MOF to allocate supplemented budget for 2015 projects or report authorized agencies about the allocation, which is merely carried out when the projects fulfill all required investment procedures and other requirements as regulated.
 
Meanwhile, the MOET, the Ministries of Justice and Construction, the Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City National Universities to complete investment procedures for new projects as regulated in the Law on Public Investment. Projects planned to be implemented this year should be approved by authorized agencies prior to August 31.
 
Budget for building and installing facilities should rely on realities and training requirement of public tertiary education institutions, ensuring legal regulations are observed and the investment is effective.
 
The MOF was asked to work with the MPI and the MOET to implement disbursement procedures as regulated if projects fulfill required investment procedures and other related regulations.
