10th session of the 13th NA opens

VGP - The 10th session of the 13th National Assembly (NA) opened in the morning of October 20 in Ha Noi.

Following an opening speech delivered by NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, deputies will listen to PM Nguyen Tan Dung’s report on socio-economic performances in 2015 and in the 2011-2015 period and the tasks and missions for 2016 and through 2020.

President of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan will present a report on comments and petitions of voters nationwide.

The NA deputies will also listen to a report on reviewing and evaluating the implementation of the NA Resolution on socio-economic development plan in 2015 and in the 2011-2015 phase and the socio-economic development plan for 2016. 

The NA will spend 19 days among 31 working days to consider and approve 18 laws, 14 resolutions and give comment to other eight laws.

As many as 12 days will be organized to discuss and review the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, State budget in 2015 and plans for 2016, the realization of the national target programs in the 2011-2015 phase, establishment of the national target programs in the 2016-2020 period and give comments on the socio-economic development plan and a financial plan in the next five years.

The Government members will have two and a half days to answer questions from the NA deputies.
