PM Dung to attend 27th ASEAN Summit

VGP - PM Nguyen Tan Dung will attend the 27thASEAN Summit and related meetings in Malaysia from November 21-22, said Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Hai Binh.

Mr. Binh made the announcement at the press briefing on Thursday.

He said that ASEAN leaders will discuss the establishment of the ASEAN Community by the end of this year.

The regional leaders will debate orientations to continue strengthening ASEAN connectivity and consolidating ASEAN solidarity, unity, and its central role in the region.

Regional and international situation as well as issues related to peace, stability and security in the region will also be brought to discussions, said Mr. Binh./.
