Tibet-related issues are China’s internal affairs

VNGOP – Việt Nam believes the Government of China will find suitable measures to ensure security and maintain social stability and economic development in Tibet and all of China, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Lê Dũng said.

The Spokesman made the statement on March 19 in response to queries on Việt Nam’s reaction to the recent happenings in China’s Tibet autonomous region and its possible impacts on the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Việt Nam is making great efforts to prepare for the 2008 Olympics in order to contribute to the success of this year’s largest sporting event that aims to promote friendship and cooperation between countries, for peace and progress in the world, said Mr. Lê Dũng.
