The JACDEC’s evaluation is based on the calculations which include the airlines’ transport service and the number of accidents and incidents over the recent 30 years as well as the accidental cases which probably take place in a twinkling or other risky situations.

This year, the top five safety airlines came from the Asian and Arabian regions, namely Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong (China), Emirates from Dubai, Eva Air from Taiwan (China), Qatar Airways from Qatar, and the Chinese Hainan Airlines.

With a fleet of 87 aircraft, covering 21 domestic and 29 international routes, Viet Nam Airlines earned VND52.5 trillion (US$2.34 billion) in revenue, VND1.08 trillion (US$48.1million) above its target by the end of September 2015.
