Vietjet opens HN-Taipei air route

VGP – Low-cost carrier Vietjet Air will launch a new flight route linking Ha Noi and Taipei, Taiwan (China) starting fromFebruary 1 with three flights per week.

The flight will take 2 hours and 40 minutes, and will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The flight will depart from Ha Noi at 3:10 p.m. and arrive at Taipei at 6:50 p.m. (local time). The return flight will depart at 7:50 p.m. and arrive in Hanoi at 9:30 p.m (local time).

The carrier offers daily service between Ho Chi Minh City and Taipei with seven flights per week.

The Viet Nam General Department of Tourism reported that as of late 2015, 438,704 Taiwanese travelled to Viet Nam in 2015, up 112 percent after other bigger markets including China, the Republic of Korea, Japan and the U.S.

The Taiwanese General Department of Tourism recently reported that 146,380 Vietnamese people arrived in Taiwan in 2015, up 6.71%./.
