Party chief greets Chinese legislative leader

The Party leader spoke highly of the outcomes of earlier talks and meetings between Zhang and Vietnamese leaders, saying that the ongoing visit will help strengthen political trust, friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the years to come.

Mr. Trong congratulated the great achievements which the Party, State, and people of China have attained over the past time.

Viet Nam, said the Party chief, always treasures the friendship, comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China.

He also urged the two sides to work together to control differences on the basis of mutual respect for each other’s interests and international law, and maintain peace, stability and development trend of bilateral relations.

In return, Mr. Zhang informed his host about the results of the newly-ended 6th meeting of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and affirmed that the Chinese Party and Government always attach importance to and would persistently develop fine relations with Viet Nam.

The Chinese legislative leader expressed his wish that the two sides will increase their political trust, share experience, connect development strategies, further promote economic cooperation and boost the education and information work to fortify the social foundation for the development of the China-Viet Nam friendship and comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership./.
