Logo competition launched to mark VN-Australia relations

VGP - The Australian embassy in Viet Nam and the Ha Noi University of Industrial Fine Arts have launched a logo design competition in Ha Noi to mark the 45th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Viet Nam (1973-2018).

Speaking at the event, Australian Ambassador Craig Chittick said since the establishment of diplomatic ties on February 26, 1973, Viet Nam and Australia have witnessed extensive development of relations in diverse areas, including economic partnership, security, renovation and creativity.

He expressed hope that the event will afford contestants a chance to tap their creativity and understand more about the two countries. 

The competition started from October 10 and will run until  November 30, 2017 with unlimited entries by each contestant. Further information could be found on the website http://bit.ly/thilogo45namAustraliaVietnam

The relationship between Viet Nam and Australia has come a long way since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1973, gaining a great deal of development in all fields, from politics to economy. About 250,000 Vietnamese people have chosen Australia as their second home and have made significant contributions to the socio-cultural relationship between the two countries.

This is the third time the Australia-Viet Nam diplomatic logo design competition has been organized. The 1st and 2nd competitions were organized to mark the 35th anniversary (2008) and 40th (2013) diplomatic relations between the two countries.
