PM allows Japanese equipment sought for water environment project

VNGOVNet – The PM on January 16 allowed the Ministry of Planning and Investment to represent the Vietnamese Government to ask the Japanese Government for 74 pieces of equipment worth US$ 828,600 under the Project "Increasing capacity for the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in protecting water environment".

The PM entrusted the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) to acquire and use the above equipment in line with the current stipulations.

The Project "Increasing capacity for the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in protecting water environment", funded by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is aimed at increasing the capacity of testing water quality, making analysis and using appropriate technologies for treatment of daily life and industrial sewage for VAST staff.
