DPRK-USA Summit offers chance to show peace-loving Viet Nam

VGP – The second DPRK-USA Summit offers a good chance for Viet Nam to promote its foreign policy and show its desire to join peace-building efforts in the region and the world, Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang told media on Saturday.

The Summit is also an opportunity to popularize the nation, people and development achievements in all fields, and promote the images of a beautiful country, friendly and hospitable people with abundant potential for cooperation and investment as well as a safe destination for arrivals.

The Spokeswoman expressed her belief that during their stay, foreign reporters will recognize the hospitality of the locals.

She also said the Summit will open up many opportunities for Viet Nam to step up international integration process. 

Asked about preparations for hosting more than 3,000 foreign reporters covering the summit, she said that relevant agencies have worked very hard to set up the international media center (IMC) in a short period of time./.
