DPRK leader Kim concludes visit to VN

VGP – Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the State Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un left Viet Nam on train at Dong Dang railway station in the Northern province of Lang Son on March 2.

Before his departure, DPRK leader Kim Jong Un laid wreath at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.

During his stay in Viet Nam, Kim attended the second DPRK-US Summit in Ha Noi from February 27-28 and paid an official friendly visit to Viet Nam from March 1-2.

On March 1, the DPRK leader held talks with Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong and met with PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

The same day, Mr. Kim Jong Un and the DPRK’s high-ranking delegation joined a banquet chaired by Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong./.
