PM: Low-quality projects unaccepted in VN

VGP – The Vietnamese Government welcomes and gives priority to high-tech projects and does not accept low-quality projects in the nation, said PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc at his reception for Chairman of Techtronic Industries (TTI) Horst Julius Pudwill, a world-leading Hong Kong-based corporation manufacturer of cordless power equipment in Ha Noi on August 6.

At the meeting, PM Phuc spoke highly of TTI’s large-scale and long-term investment in Viet Nam over the recent time. 

The Vietnamese Government commits to creating favorable conditions for investors, including the TTI, he asserted, adding that the nation has all the factors that the TTI can choose for strategic production hub and research and development center to export its products to other nations. 

PM Phuc proposed the corporation promote investment in high-tech in Ha Noi, Da Nang City and Ho Chi Minh City, affirming that Viet Nam’s business and investment environment is attractive and has been improved to be ranked among top in ASEAN. 

TTI Chairman highlighted investment and business opportunities in Viet Nam, expressing his thanks to the support of Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee and other relevant agencies for the corporation and expecting to pour more investment in the nation to export more Made-in-Viet Nam products, especially electronic mechanics and precision mechanics to the world. 

The TTI will enhance investment in research and development and Germany-standard vocational training in the country, he said.
