ASEAN Secretary-General, Botswana FM to visit VN

VGP – ASEAN Secretary-General Lim Jock Hoi will pay a working visit to Viet Nam from August 26-28, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang told a room of reporters Thursday.

Hang said the ASEAN Secretary-General will discuss with relevant Vietnamese agencies on ways to coordinate and assist Viet Nam in 2020 as the country will take over ASEAN Chairmanship role.

Hang also announced that Botswana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Unity Dow will make an official visit to Viet Nam from August 24-27 at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh./.
