SA among VN’s top partners in Africa

Phuc spoke highly of the two countries’ efforts to maintain defense policy dialogue mechanism which has helped boost bilateral defense ties as well as the overall friendship and cooperation.

He affirmed the Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for further advancement of the bilateral defense cooperation.

The South African Defense Minister briefed the host leader about the outcomes of his talks with Vietnamese counterpart Ngo Xuan Lich, during which both sides had agreed to foster the defense cooperation, especially experience sharing in combatting terrorism and peace-keeping operations.

Both sides also discussed ways to speed up defense industry and technology transfer cooperation, said the minister./.
