Viet Nam and Germany are enhancing Strategic Partnership in all fields, said Dung, adding that economic, trade and investment cooperation are pillars in the bilateral relationship.

Bjorn Koslowski expressed his hope to make efforts in promoting the two nations’ relationship more intensively in all fields, including renewable energy.

President of German IB Vogt Company Anton Milner said that the company has experiences in realizing renewable energy projects and is considering two solar power projects in the Central Highland province of Dak Lak.

He expected that the Vietnamese Government and functional agencies will create favorable conditions and policies for the company to carry out the project in the country.

Deputy PM Dung spoke highly of the project, asserting that the Vietnamese Government always encourages the use of renewable energy. The nation has gradually improved the power resources in the way of giving priority to renewable energy, contributing to protecting the environment and enhancing sustainable socio-economic development.

The nation is forecasted to need the total electricity of 90,000 MW by 2025 and 130,000 MW by 2030, he said, suggesting the German company to closely coordinate with the Vietnamese side to launch the project effectively.
