Over 11,000 enterprises founded in August

In the first eight months, the number of newly-established enterprises and those resuming business reached nearly 116,000, up 7% against the same period last year. Specifically, the number of newly-founded enterprises grew 3.5% and the number of  businesses resuming operation surged 21.8%. 

In addition, average register capital of a newly-established enterprises increased vigorously with VND 12.7 billion per business which is the highest level over the past years. 

Agro-forestry-fishery sector witnessed 1,300 newly-established enterprises, accounting for 1.4% of total number. Industrial and construction sector had 24,500 newly-founded enterprises, making up 27%. About 64,700 service enterprises were established, occupying 71.6% of total number. 

In the first eight months, 20,100 enterprises temporally suspended operation, a year-on-year decline of 7%./.
