DPM receives Primorie Governor

VGP – Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung hosted a reception for Primorie Governor Oleg Kozhemiako on September 5 in Vladivostok on the sidelines of the fifth ​Eastern Economic Forum.

Deputy PM Dung expressed his pleasure to visit Vladivostok city, the metropolis of the Primorye Territory and his impression of their dynamic development which contributed to the common growth of Russia. 

The two leaders assessed that the cooperation between Viet Nam and the Russia’s Far East in general and Vladivostok in particular have developed but yet met respective potentials and demands. 

The Deputy PM suggested the two sides boost cooperation in trade, tourism, education. 

Viet Nam has high demands for Primorie’s strength products including mining, furniture, agro-forestry-fishery products and stands ready to export seafood and consumption products to Primorie, he said.

The guest leader affirmed that the Vietnamese Government always backs cooperation between Vietnamese localities with Russian peers. 

He took the occasion to seek support from the Primorie’s administration and the Governor for the overseas Vietnamese community there and expressed his gratitude to the installment of Ho Chi Minh Statue in Vladivostosk.

In reply, Governor Oleg Kozhemiako affirmed that the local authorities and people of Primorie treasured the traditional ties with Viet Nam and spared no effort to nurture the relations./.
