Tan An becomes Grade 2-city

VGP – The PM has signed Decision No. 1140/QD-TTg recognizing Tan An as the Grade 2-city under the Mekong Delta Province of Long An.

The recognition is suitable with the master plan and urban development trend of the Mekong Delta.

It is also expected to help lure more investment resources to promote the city’s socio-economic development.

Tan An serves as bridge connecting the Mekong Delta region and Ho Chi minh City and is located in the Southern economic zone.

In 2007, Tan An town was recognized as the Grade 3-city.
